Joyce J. Franks

Joyce J. Franks, 87 of Cumberland Gap, Tennessee passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was born in Barbourville, Kentucky on September 25, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Kathleen Pearman. Joyce had been a homemaker and a member of the Providence Baptist Church.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Franks; and her son, Darrell Franks.

She is survived by her special friends, Albert McNew and wife, Belvet.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 16 at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel with Rev. Frank Noe. Burial will follow in the Yoakam Cemetery at Speedwell with friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday after 11:00 AM at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel in Harrogate, which is honored to be serving.
