Joyce Faye Elliott Wilson

Joyce Faye Elliott Wilson, 76, of Kettle Island, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2011 at Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Stoney Fork, KY on August 8, 1934 a daughter of the late Simon and Sarah Pearl Elliott. She attended Solid Rock Pentecostal Church and had been a homemaker. Joyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who take care of all her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant child, her sister, Emma Elliott and brothers, Curtis and Jimmy Lee Elliott. Survivors include her husband, of 60 years, Carter Wilson; son, Eddie Wilson and his wife, Leigh Ann; daughter, Jane Stewart and her husband, Jimmy; grandchildren, Kyle Wilson and wife, Jessica, Lauren Wilson and Matthew Smith and wife, Carrie; great-grandchildren, Clare Alice Wilson and Morgan Kylie Wilson; brothers and sisters and their spouses, Shirley Taylor, Patsy and Don Wells, Carolyn and Harold Prindle, Ronnie and Sarah Frances Elliott and Kathy and Barry Schuster, special friends, Barbara Hoskins, Lillie Cornelius, Mary Bullins, Betty Hatmaker and Anna Jane Brock and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
