Joyce Irene Cheek

Mrs. Joyce Irene Cheek, age 77 of Speedwell, TN was born August 22, 1944 and passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at her home. She was an avid reader and loved painting and genealogy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Arizona and Clyde Robertson, brothers; Kermit Robertson and Larry Robertson, sisters; Alberta Robertson, Janice Robertson, Chris Clawson and Penny Clawson

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years; Roger Dale Cheek, son; Roger Darrell Cheek (Alan Peeples), daughter; Melissa Garland, grandson; Jeremiah Rosson (Deena Smith, sisters; Louise Rice (Lester), Diane Paul (Willis), special friends; the Harrison Family, the Lyle Family and the Peoples Family. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, February 4, 2022 from 6PM until 8PM at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted 2PM Saturday, February 5, 2022 in the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel. Family and friends will meet at the Robertson Cemetery following the funeral service for interment.
