Joyce Perlina Gambrel Bingham

Joyce Perlina Gambrel Bingham, 53, of Corbin, formerly of Bell County, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 5, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on November 16, 1961, a daughter of Dorothy Gambrel and the late Homer Gambrel. Joyce was a member of Chenoa Missionary Baptist Church and had worked as an Admission clerk at the Pineville Community Hospital for many years. In addition to her father, Joyce was preceded in death by a son, Nathaniel Burton Bingham. Survivors include her husband, of 37 years, Donald Burton Bingham, Jr., for whom Joyce was a loving wife, friend and confidant; her son, Daniel Jamison Bingham; granddaughters, Sarah Payton Bingham and Abbigail Faith Bingham; mother, Dorothy Gambrel, brothers, sisters and their spouses, Elaine and Dennis Ryan, Eddie Caldwell, Regina and Howard Watts, James 'Bobo' and Myra Gambrel; mother-in-law, Laura Bingham; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A very special thank you to a special niece and caregiver, Elizabeth Bingham; Hospice of the Bluegrass, special sisters-in-law and caregivers, Becky Marsee and Michelle Miracle, caregiver and mother-in-law, Laura Bingham. Special appreciation to Bo, Regina and Sissy for helping Joyce during her Chemo treatments and for staying with her at Hope House in Lexington. Services will be Monday at 2:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ferrell Greene. Music will be by Voices of Praise. Burial will be in Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro. Pallbearers will be Howard watts, Rodney Slusher, Jim Miracle, Little Jim Miracle, Brandon Marsee and Dennis Ryan. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 until 9 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Bingham Family.
