Joyce G."Nene" Barton

Joyce G. 'Nene' Barton , 74 of Hulen KY, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015 at her home. She was born in Blackmont, on December 19, 1940 a daughter of the late Curry Reed and Edith Walker Barton. She attended Blackmont Baptist Church. Joyce loved everyone especially children and babies and she loved to draw and color. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters and brothers, Charlene Barton, Betty Barton, Daryl Barton and David Barton. Survivors include her sister, Glenda L. Senters; brothers and their wives, Arnold and Eldene Barton, Donald R. and Irma Barton and a host of other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Services will be Thursday at 6:00 PM at Blackmont Baptist Church with Rev. David Howard and Rev. Freeman Clark. Music will be by Donald Barton, Tina Saylor and the Blackmont Church Choir. Burial will be on Friday at 11:00 AM in the Tackett Hill Cemetery with family and friends will serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Blackmont Baptist Church, 14 Old Blackmont Church Road, Hulen, KY 40845. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 until 6:00 PM at Blackmont Baptist Church. Arnett & Steel Funeral Home and Cremation Center which is honored to serve the Barton Family.
