Joshua Jacob Hampton, 32 years old, of London Kentucky, unexpectedly passed away on Friday,
April 18th at 2:16PM at UK Hospital due to a vehicle collision.
Joshua was born on January 28, 1993, in Knoxville, Tennessee to Edward and Sandra Osborne.
Joshua was adopted into the Hampton family in February of 2005. He attended school at Bell
County and Pineville public schools.
As a child, Joshua enjoyed playing football, basketball, baseball, fishing, paintball, and riding his
bike. As an adult, Joshua had a “Gypsy Soul” and never stayed in one place to long. He seen life
through a different lense and did not value material possessions. He enjoyed walking from place
to place, talking with everyday people, and enjoyed a good laugh. He had a huge heart and would
literally give you the shirt off his back. Joshua experienced trials in life that very few could
overcome, but he was strong and courageous. Even through death, he was able to give life-saving
gifts to others in need through Network for Hope. May he now have eternal peace and rest.
Joshua was predeceased in death by his Father Edward Osborne; Great Grandparents Joe and
Birdie Hampton, Gramps David Hampton, and childhood neighbor/mentor Wayne Farmer.
Joshua, is survived by Father and Stepmother Casey and Kaci Hampton of Lily, KY. Mother
Rebecca Green of Middlesboro, KY. Twin brother Daniel Hampton of Hazard, KY, brother Jesse
Hampton of Hazard, KY, brother Luke Neville of Harrogate, TN. Two sisters Brittany Green of
Arkansas and Destini Green of Middlesboro, KY.
Grandparents: Patty Hampton of London, KY; Terry and Genna May of Lily, KY; Carolyn
Massengill of Harrogate, TN; Gary and Kristina Green of Calvin, KY; As well as a host other
family, friends, and loved ones.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made towards the services of Joshua Hampton.
