Johnny Jr Sinkhorn, 76 of Pineville, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Pineville on July 12, 1949, a son of the late Johnny B and Madge Lene Hubbard Sinkhorn. Johnny was saved and ready for his place with our Lord. He was a great father and a devoted husband. Johnny had been a Coal Miner.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Johnny Sinkhorn, III; brother, William Alta “Bill” Sinkhorn; and sisters, Bertha Louise Crockett, Berta Frances Williamson, Doretta Irene Edds, Brenda Joyce Killion, and Virginia “Jenny” Napier.
Johnny is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Lula Cox Sinkhorn; children, Cindy and Freddie Middleton, Chris and Tonya Collett, and Marie and Avery Ewing; granddaughters, Kristen and Matthew Mayes and Kellie and Tyler Faulkner; brothers, Elmer Ray Sinkhorn and Bryon Keith Sinkhorn; special niece, Lisa Weaver; special nephews, William Thomas Johnson and John Phillip Williamson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Private graveside services will be at on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens in Pineville with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will have a private visitation with friends on Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Sinkhorn Family.
