Johnny Duane Hobbs, Jr.

Johnny Duane Hobbs, Jr., 26 of Pineville, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023, in Tazewell, Tennessee. He was born in Pineville on November 3, 1996, a son of Johnnie Duane Hobbs, Sr. and Roxie Mason Johnson. Johnny had been a loader for England Furniture.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Nannie Miracle; grandfather, Grant Saylor; and aunt, Veronica Joyce Miracle.

Johnny is survived by his daughter, Calysee Tenae Yvonne Hobbs; mother, Roxie Mason Johnson and her husband, Ricky; father, Johnnie Duane Hobbs, Sr.; sister, Amber LaShae Hobbs; best friend and brother, Cody Caldwell; mother of his daughter, Kianah Lynn Hobbs; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Kersey presiding. Music will be provided by Rick Johnson, Lisa Kersey, Emma Kersey, and Mossie Johnson. Burial will follow at the John A. Partin Cemetery in Frakes. Pallbearers will be Ethan Johnson, Cody Caldwell, Shawn Lawson, Joshua Bryant, Charles Miracle, Quinn Hobbs, Kevin Miracle, and Darrell Vaughn.
