Johnie R. Pritchard age 66 of Speedwell passed away Oct. 3, 2010. He was born Dec. 9, 1943 to the late Joseph Pritchard & Georgia Barnett Sutton. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brothers: James Pritchard, Larry Sutton, Ronnie Sutton, & Roger Sutton and sister, Barbara Jo Pritchard. He was of the Baptist faith, a Vietnam Veteran and a member of The Greasy Hollow Fishing Club.

Survivors include: Companion Diane Gibson of Speedwell

Sons: Joseph Hayes(& Ashley) Pritchard of Tazewell, Dustin Pritchard of Middlesboro, Brandon Pritchard of Speedwell

Daughter: Robin Wilson (& Glen) of Speedwell

Brothers: Eugene (& Ruby) Pritchard of Lafayette, IN Robert (& Gail) Pritchard of Morristown; Denver Pritchard of LaFollette Gary Sutton of Tazewell

Sisters: Helen (Lewis) Jones of Lynn Haven, FL and Naomi McAfee of Powell Valley

Grandchildren: Christopher & Jacob Wilson

Funeral services will be 8 PM Wednesday Oct. 6 at Reece Funeral Home with Bishop Greg Thompson, Lonnie Smith and Robert Cobb officiating. Music by Craig and Taralyn Sowby.

Burial 11 am Thursday in The Old Red Hill Cemetery with full military honors provided by Tri-County Veteran's Honor Guard. Pallbearers, Brent Wilder, David Lewis, Jeff England, Toby Turner, Luke Allen, Ben Boyle, Daniel Howe, Philip Chumley. Honorary pallbearers, Paul Robinson,Kenneth Smith, Dan Treadway, Dale Russell, Dean Russell, Pat Welch, Ray Crigger, Bill Carey.

Visitation Wednesday from 6-8 at Reece Valley Chapel.
