John Main

John C. Main, Jr.,93, of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at his home. He was born in Barbourville, KY on March 10, 1919 the son of the late John C., Sr. and Rosa Golden Main. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Barbourville and had worked as an electrician at Kentucky Utilities and at Atomic Energy in Oak Ridge, TN. John had served in Civil Service during World War II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Evelyn Jones Main; adoring daughter, Judy Langford and her husband, Edwin; grandchildren, Florence Elizabeth Jackson, Robert Sean Young and John Phillip Young; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Cox and Jacob Jackson; sister Dorothy Main Philpot and a host of nieces,nephews, other relatives and friends.
