John Ray Beverly

John Ray Beverly, 67 of Muskegon, Michigan, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, April 3, 2022. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on March 13, 1955, a son of the late Britten and Gladys Gray Beverly. John enjoyed playing the guitar, bowling, and listening to country songs, especially blue grass music on long road trips. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Beverly; and sisters, Kathy Visscher and Shirley Beverly. John is survived by his nephews, Michael Visscher and wife, Heather, and Nicholas Visscher; great-niece and nephew, Banyan Visscher and Harper Visscher; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Randall Beverly presiding. Burial will follow at the Beverly Family Cemetery in Arjay with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Beverly Family.
