Joel Frank Lewis

Mr. Joel Frank Lewis, age 47, of Tazewell, TN was born April 20, 1976 and passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Parkwest Regional Medical Center due to several strokes and pneumonia. He was a very proud and hardworking man. Joel’s smile was contagious. He had a big heart and loved his children deeply.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Buffin James Lewis and Bobbie Jean (Munsey) Lewis, sisters; Sherry Faye, Vicky, Bertha, Bonnie and Thomasa, brothers; Stacy and James Rodger.

He is survived by his children; Christian Anthony and Erica Faith, sisters; Kathy, Bertha and husband Junior, Charlene and husband Homer, Bobbie, Lisa and husband Brian, Crystal and husband Frankie, Belinda, and Mary, brothers; Ricky, Ray, Harvey, Buffin, Adam and partner Jeremy. Joel is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Family and friends will meet Friday, August 25, 2023 at the Yoakum Cemetery in New Tazewell, TN for 11AM graveside services.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
