Joe Stewart, 75, of Pathfork, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017 at his home. He was born in Smith, KY on January 13, 1942 a son of the late William 'Bill and Birdie Roark Stewart. He was a member of Tugglesville Baptist Church and had been a coal miner for 31 years at for Energy Producers. He loved fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Shirley Cooper, Annie Royce, Bessie Moore, Oma Stewart, Marion Stewart and Pete Stewart. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Mae Daniels Stewart; children, Marion Dewayne 'Pete' Stewart and girlfriend, Donna Bengie, Oma Jean and husband, Jamie Cox, Joanna Perry and husband, Mitchel Perry; grandchildren, William Stewart and wife, Jessica, Tyler Stewart and Fiance Belinda Patton, Champion Lee, David Hurst and Jay Cox; five great-grandchildren; brothers and sister, Jimmy Stewart and wife, Cassie, Della Mae Stewart Hensley, Otto Stewart and wife, Iva; honorable mention to Sonya Phipps and husband, Jason and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday at the Tugglesville Baptist Church with Rev. James Clyde Hill and Rev. David Howard. Music will be by Sandra Kay Lee and Majaretta Moore. Burial will be in the Daniel Cemetery in Smith, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday after 6:00 PM at the Tugglesville Baptist Church.
