Joe Napier

Joe Napier, 88, of Arjay, passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Baptist Health Corbin. He was born in Arjay on March 23, 1930 a son of the late George and Rebecca Napier. He had been a coal miner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a host of brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife, Recia Roark Napier, children and their spouses, Joetta and Bruce Howard, Jerry and Karen Napier, Tammy and Donnie King, George and Bridget Napier; grandchildren, Nicholas, Nicole, Ashley, Joseph, Jared, Chris, Pam and Brandon; a host of great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph Napier and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 6:00 PM Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Irving Gipson and Rev. Jeremy Sanders. Burial will be Thursday at 10:00 AM at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3 until the service hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Napier Family.
