Joann Welch Bowman

JoAnn Welch Bowman, 80, of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Pineville on April 4, 1936 a daughter of the late Jay and Bertha Ann Barnes Welch. She had been a Licensed Practical Nurse at Pineville Community Hospital for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, a grandson, Brandon Bowman; brothers and sisters, Rev. Bob Welch, Dorothy Hunter and Wanda Goodin. Survivors include her children, Vicki Lou Hoskins, Pam Lawson and Mike Bowman; grandchildren, JoAnna Foley and husband, Chris; Jaime Wilder and husband, Jason; Lindsey Bowman; great-grandchildren, Reece Foley, Nash Wilder and Kara Bowman; brothers, Rev. Charles Welch and Don Welch, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Charles Welch. Burial will be in the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Bowman Family.
