Jimmy Smith

Jimmy Ray Smith, 60, of Arjay, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2008 in Arjay. He was born in Blanche, KY on October 24, 1948 the son of Virgie Hensley Smith and the late Riley Smith. He was a member of the Arjay Pentecostal Church and had been a factory worker. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Gambrel Smith, children, Jimmy Ray Smith, Jr., Jody Ray Smith and Buffy Faye Smith. Survivors include his mother, Virgie Smith, brothers and sisters and their spouses, Daril and Angie Hensley, Peggy and Ed Hoskins, Geraldine and Melvin Beverly and Shelia and Lonnie Lewis; niece and nephews, Randall and Elizabeth Beverly, Toby and Jennifer Beverly, Lonathan Kyler Lewis, April Rose Hensley and Bobby Daril Hensley; great nieces and nephew, Caleb Beverly, Hannah Beverly and Emily Beverly and a host of other relatives and friends.
