Jimmy Cecil Fuson, 59, of Green Briar, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at his home. He was born in Pineville on September 3, 1951 a son of the late Ben Fuson and Janie North Fuson. He was a member of the Greasy Creek Missionary Baptist Church and had been a carpenter. He had served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. Jimmy was the best story teller, a great cook and he loved company, never turning away anyone who wanted to visit with him. Survivors include his daughter, Tressie Mosley Evans, grandchildren Jacob and Summer Evans, brothers and sisters, JoAnn Fuson Staples and husband, Ambassador (Ret.) George M. Staples, Pauline Fuson Hick and husband, Ed, Alvie Ray Fuson and wife, Sylvia and Bill Lee Fuson and wife, Sue; nieces and nephews, Catherine Staples Randolph and husband, Matthew, Benjamin Tyler Fuson, Katie Jane Brown, William Edward Fuson, James Hall and Steven Hall, special uncle, Joe North and a host of other relatives and friends.
