Jimmie C. Gibson

Jimmie C. Gibson, age 67 of New Tazewell, TN, was born January 4, 1949 and passed away November 17, 2016. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and a member and deacon of the Big Springs Primitive Baptist Church Springdale Tazewell, TN.

He was preceded in death by his wife Rachel (Carmony) Gibson, and parents William and Katherine (Adams) Gibson, Sisters: Lillian and Ervine Gibson, Junnie Mae (Leach), Father & Mother In Law Ben & Mary Carmony, Brother in law Dickie Carmony.

Survivors include Son Jimmie Clayton Gibson of New Tazewell, TN. Sisters: Elizabeth Garland of Tazewell, TN., Amanda Jo (Glenn) Earl of New Tazewell, TN., Brothers: Sam Gibson of Cumberland Gap TN., Kenneth Gibson of Tazewell, TN., Dewie Albert (Janice) Gibson, of Cumberland Gap, TN., Edward (Reva) Gibson of Kokomo, IN., Sister in law Louise Millgan of Franklin, Ohio, Special Aunt Sophia Gibson Wheatley of Arthur, TN., and several nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held 1 PM Saturday December 17 at Reece Valley Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12-1. Burial to follow in the Chumley Cemetery with full Military Honors provided by Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard
