Jim R. Simpson, age 70 of Jacksboro passed away September 16, 2014. He was born Feb 26, 1944 to the late James Henry & Addie Marie Gilbert Simpson. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife - Glenda Faye Widner Simpson. He was of the Apostolic Faith.
Survivors include Sons- Jimmy (& Amy) Simpson of Tazewell, and Tony (& Sunny) Simpson of Jacksboro, Daughter- Priscilla North of Middlesboro, Brother- Butch (& Tootie) Simpson of Middlesboro, Sister- Linda, grandchildren- Jessica, Christopher, April, Josh, Michael, Nathanael, Ashley and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service 7 PM Thursday Sept 18 at Reece Valley Chapel. Visitation 5-7. Burial Friday in the Mountain View Cemetery. Reece Funeral Home in charge. 433-869-3651 or www.reecefh.com to send condolences and view digital memorial.
