Mr. James Jason “Jim” Russell age, 52 of Tazewell, TN was born December 12, 1967 in Wurzburg, Germany and passed away July 10, 2020 at the Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. Jim loved singing, golfing, and fishing. He was a history buff and an avid Tennessee Volunteer fan who loved his family, especially his two granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his father; James Russell of Speedwell, TN, father and mother-in-law; Carl and Vondetta Brock of New Tazewell, TN, brothers-in-law; Gregory Brock of New Tazewell, TN, Randy Brock of Tampa, FL, and Vernon Little of Speedwell, TN, nephew; Daniel Turner of New Tazewell, TN.

He is survived by his loving wife; Trena Brock Russell of New Tazewell, TN, daughter; Kameron Russell of Tazewell, TN, son; Devin Gulley of Tazewell, TN, mother; Sharon Russell of Speedwell, TN, brother; Jeff Russell and wife Patty of Speedwell, TN, sister; Kelli Little of Speedwell, TN, granddaughters; Abrianna Payne and Emmarie Gulley, both of Tazewell, TN, sister-in-law; Gina Turner of Tazewell, TN. He is also survived by a host of family, neighbors and many friends.

Viewing hours will be from 5PM until 8PM Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family asks that each guest who enters the building, please wear a face mask or a facial covering. A guestbook will also be setup outside for the high-risk guests to place their condolences.

Private graveside services will be conducted by Rev. Jason Poe in the Ausmus Cemetery.
