Jim Brock

Jim Brock, 82 of Stoney Fork, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at the Pineville Community Health Care in Pineville. He was born in Stoney Fork on July 22, 1939, a son of the late Mitchell and Lula Cox Brock. Jim believed in the Holiness Faith and had been a carpenter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Lillie Mae Brock and a host of brothers and sisters. Jim is survived by his children and their spouses, Willie Ray and Diane Brock, Jerry and Tiffany Brock, Sarah and Clifford Hollingsworth, Charles Russell and Stephanie Brock, Darlene and Elbert Helton and Lorene Brock; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; sister, Gertrude Brock; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Demus Couch presiding. Music will be provided by family and friends. Burial will be in the Stoney Fork Community Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Brock Family.
