Jewell Coulter Overton, age 93, of Harrogate, Tennessee, passed away August 21, 2007 in the Claiborne County Nursing Home. Born September 16, 1913 a daughter of the late Louis and Anna Coulter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Taylor Overton; sisters, Cleo Coulter Parrish, Gladys Coulter Tranchida, Audrey Coulter; brother, Durward Coulter.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Harrogate and was a teacher most of her life.

Survivors, nephew, Jerry L. Coulter of Michigan and niece, Celia Vail of Ohio.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Reece Valley Chapel with Dr. Malcolm Hester officiating. Interment to follow in the Irish Cemetery.
