Jeweldine Mason

Jeweldine Gibson Mason, 94 of Pineville, Kentucky, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at her home with family at her bedside. She was born on August 11, 1931, in Bell County, Kentucky, to the late Guital and Arizona Gibson.

Jeweldine was the true definition of a Godly woman. Her life was a testament of her unwavering faith in the Lord and his sweet salvation. She loved the Lord with all her heart and her family. Jeweldine was a homemaker and worked at the Corbin Kentucky Senior Citizens for a short period of time.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mason; her five sisters, Marie Wilso, Sarah Robers, Rosa “Parrie” Berndt, Armelda Wells, and Christine Johnson; four brothers, Thurman Gibson, Hargis Gibson, Willis Gibson, and Robert Gibson; two sons, Thurman Mason and Chester Mason; two stepsons, RC Mason and Mitchel Mason; two daughters, Inez Branham and Christine Felton; and five stepdaughters, Nadine Mason, Sadie Polly, Lois Smith, Troberta Patrick and Roberta Fuson.

Jeweldine is survived by her sons, Raymond Mason of Taylorsville, Kentucky, and Jimmy Dean Mason on Pineville, Kentucky; daughters, Edith and Bobby Fuston of Pineville, Kentucky, and Josie and Rick Griffin of Pineville, Kentucky; one sister, Octavia Van Winkle of Fairdale, Kentucky; twenty grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; a large host of step great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Preacher Dalton Mason and Preacher Noah Mason officiating. Music will be provided by the Mason Family Singers. Burial will follow at the Gibson Cemetery in Clear Creek. Pallbearers will be Justin Griffin, Tyler Jones, Adrian Branham, Doug Felton, Danny Fuston, and Chad Fuston.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the hospice care team, especially Nurse Megan and Hometown Clinic with Sharon Turner as her healthcare provider.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Mason Family.
