Jewel Foister Oquin

Jewel Foister OQuin, 71, of Jenson and Tazewell, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017, at home. She was born in Fourmile, KY on September 8, 1946,-+ a daughter of the late Millard and Sudie Smith Foister. She was of the Baptist Faith and had been a Factory Foreman for Hoover Universal. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Jerry Wayne Oquin and Kathy Gail Smith; brothers and sisters, Viola Goodin, Jack Foister, Sammy Foister, Randall Foister, Franklin Foister, Jess Foister, Dorothy Allen and Katherine Miller. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Bascom Jerry OQuin of Tazewell; brothers and sisters, Helen Walker of Middlesboro, Jimmy and Lois Foister of Lebanon, OH, Fred and Wanda Foister of Jenson, Terry and Ron Blevins of Jenson, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 3:00 PM Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Foster and Rev. Jeremy Sanders. Music will be by Larry and Debbie Green. Burial will be in the Jenson Cemetery with family and friends are serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 until 3 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the OQuin Family.
