Jerry Darrell Taylor, 63, of Ewing, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital in Knoxville. He was born in Pineville on March 3, 1952 and was a son of the late Robert and Thelma Cinnamon Taylor. He was a retired teacher at Thomas Walker High School and a member of Chadwell Station Baptist Church. Jerry was also a proud member of the Usher Club of the University of Kentucky's Committee of 101 and the Rose Hill Lion's Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Delbert Taylor and a niece, Michelle Murphy. Survivors include his children and their spouses, James and Heidi Taylor-Caudill and Tanya 'Nikki' and Logan Goodin ; sister, Helen Taylor; nieces, nephew and their spouses, Stephanie and Jack Graff and Rev. Valerie and Rev. Jarade Sinclair, Christina Taylor and Michael and Regina Taylor; great-niece, Sarah-Beth Sinclair and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be Sunday at 2:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Blevins. Burial will be in the Pineville Memorial Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6 until 9 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Taylor Family.
