Jerry Wayne Evans, age 52, of Speedwell, passed away Thursday July 2nd, 2009 at University of Tennessee Hospital.
He accepted the Lord many years ago during a revival at Boones Temple. He was preceded in death by his mother,
Lottie Evans.
Survivors include
one son
Brandon Evans and daughter in law Tracy and two small
grandsons
Jacob and
Ben, all from Christiansburg, Virginia.

Jean Hopper and
Marcella Goins of Speedwell, TN,
Betty and husband Howard Terry of Lafollette, TN,
Phyllis and husband Jim Webb of Newport Michigan, and
Carolyn Heatley of Clinton,
brother,
Jack and wife Teresa Evans of Clinton
and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Reece Funeral Home and Valley Chapel on Saturday July 4th, 2009 from 6-8 p.m.
Funeral to follow at 8:00 p.m.
Graveside to be at Old Red Hill Cemetery on Sunday July 5th, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.
Rev. Jim Leach will be officiating.

Pallbearers : Brian Goins, Mitchell Goins, Silas Damron, Larry Fortner, Charlie Sears, and Jerry Fortner.
