Jerry Lynn Ervin

Jerry Lynn Ervin, 64, of Calvin, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington. He was born in Hances Creek on May 20, 1952 a son of the late John and Ada Hoskins Ervin. He had served in the United States Army for ten years and had driven a school bus for the Bell County School System for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Hubert Ervin, Sally and Larue Barnett, Paul Ervin, J.B. Ervin and Jack Ervin. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Zetta Jackson Ervin, children, Ray and Melonie Hurst; Keith and Lavona Hurst, Annette and Brian Robbins; grandchildren, C.J. Hurst, Samuel Hurst, Teresa Hurst, Isabella Hurst, John Hurst, Rodney Hurst, Grace Lawson, Ethan Lawson, Kaiden Robbins and Landon Robbins; brothers and sisters, Argene Ervin, Delano Ervin, Oppie Clark, Raymond and Pam Ervin, Larkin and Kathy Ervin, John and Janet Ervin, George and Lola Ervin, sister-in-law, Linda Ervin and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 7:00 PM Tuesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Howard. Music will be by James and Lisa Roark. Following Jerry's request he will be cremated following services. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Ervin Family. Visitation
