Jerome 'Mongoose' LaBounty, went to be with the Lord Monday, July 21, 2008. Jerome was a United States Veteran serving in the Vietnam war. He was a member of New Beginning Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, William LaBounty; and son, Jerome LaBounty, Jr.; brother, Ugene LaBounty.
