Jerleen Pearlie Warf, 83, Lafayette, died in the Rosewalk Village, Lafayette, IN, on Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at 5:25 a.m.

Jerleen was born in Ewing, Virginia, on March 26, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Morgan and Sarah E. (Clounce) Warf. She was raised in Virginia, moving to West Point in 1973. She lived in West Point, IN until moving to Lafayette, IN in 1996.

Jerleen attended Ely Dale School in Virginia. She was a member of the Mountain View Baptist Church in Caylor, VA and later moved her membership to the West Point Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, working puzzles, reading and flower gardening.

Surviving are a brother, John Warf, Lafayette, IN; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lorena Bradford and Gwendolyn Warf along with a brother, Moses Warf.

Friends may call at the Reece Funeral Home, Harrogate, TN, on Friday, March 18th, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor John Gibbons officiating. Burial will follow in the Elydale Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Ewing, VA.
