Jeffrey Wayne Roy

Jeffrey Wayne Roy, 48, of Ewing, VA, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport.   He was born in Pennington Gap, VA on February 23, 1969 a son of Georgia Burchett Roy and the late Don Roy.  He had attended Assembly of God Church and was saved on July 19, 2017.  Jeffrey had been a machine operator for DeRoyal Industries.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Andrew and Lula Kate Roy and Levi and Jerushia Burchett, niece, Vanessa Asher; nephews, Joshua Moore and Jerry Ellis, Jr.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Robin Dooley Roy; son, Andrew Roy; mother, Georgia Roy; sisters, Sheryl( John) Marcum and Karen Clouse; special nephew, Jason Moore; special cousin, Kim Brogan and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 8:00 PM Monday at Reece Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ewell Russell, Rev. Charles Long and Rev. Eddie Smith.  Music will be by friends of the family.

Burial will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Roy-Dooley Family Cemetery in Ewing, VA.  Pallbearers will be Jason Moore, Chris Fee, Michael Russell, Josh Dooley, Andrew Roy Darryl Ayers.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 until 8:00 PM at the Reece Funeral Home and Valley Chapel which is honored to serve the Roy Family.
