Jean Asher Pomeroy

Jean Asher Pomeroy, 94, of Lexington, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 in Lexington. She was born in Pineville on January 29, 1918 a daughter of the late George Matt Asher and Barbara Hannah Amis Asher. Jean was a member of the Emanuel Baptist Church in Lexington and had been a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dudley Pomeroy and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Pomeroy Debranski and husband, Jeff; her son, Thomas Pomeroy and wife, Jerri; grandchildren, Michael Dobranski and Michelle Pomeroy Moore; great-granddaughter, Jacqueline Marie Moore and a host of other relatives and friends. At her request, Jean was cremated. Memorial donations are suggested to Clear Creek Baptist Bible College, 300 Clear Creek Road, Pineville, KY 40977.
