Jean I Snyder

Jean I. Snyder, 83, of Harrogate, TN passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 at St. Joseph Hospital London, KY.  She was bon on June 1, 1938 at Miracle, KY a daughter of the late Thomas and Roxie Owens.  Jean was a member of Trinity Pentecostal Lighthouse Church and had been a volunteer with Lighthouse Ministries.  She had been a cook at Pine Mountain State Park for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Snyder, brothers and sisters, Leonard Owens, Clifford Owens, G. Lou Coots, Hazel Rogers and Rosie Cupp.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Sharon and James Teaney, Trisha and Larry Mason and Daryl and Faye Maiden; grandchildren, Shawn and Bridget Maiden, Ashley and Jeremy Saylor, Michael and Jessica Teaney; great grandchildren, Lily Maiden, Luna Louise Maiden, Lucas Teaney, Ethen Bullins, Mason Benjamin Saylor and Trenton Joseph Saylor, sister and brother-in-law; Gracie and Dexter Miracle and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel with Rev. Darrell Lowe and Mr. James Teaney.  Music will be by Faye Maiden, Debbie Green and Adrienne Saylor.  Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro.  Pallbearers will be Shawn Maiden, Michael Teaney, Jeremy Saylor, Bobby Grubbs, Daryl Maiden and James Teaney.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour.
