Jean Blair

Jean Blair of Tazewell, TN passed away peacefully on June 8th 2024. Born June 15th, 1932 she was 91 years young and will be missed by family and friends.

As a member of the Tazewell community she helped to start the volunteer fire department. But some of her fondest memories were of her students while working in the classroom of the Claiborne County School system.

Jean also resided in Kentucky, Florida and Virginia. She worked for the Wise County School Board and was active in her children's childhood activities.

Jean was survived by her 5 children, Debbie Blanford, Gail Wells, Randy Wampler, Rolanda Dolbey and Toby Wampler. She was also, blessed with 7 grandchildren Miranda, Tiffany, Sarah, Andrea, Jordan, Landon and Mae as well as 7 great grandchildren Everett, Hailey, Connor, Taylor, Ashton, Kylie and Hayden. She is also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

Private memorial services for Mrs. Jean Blair will be conducted at a later date.
