Jc Yoakum, Jr.

JC Yoakum, Jr., 60, of New Tazewell passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Fort Sanders Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.  He was born in Jamestown, TN, on November 9, 1964 a son of JC Yoakum Sr, and the late Dallas Poor Yoakum. He had been a truck driver for Wallace Trucking.  JC was a loving father, a hard worker, he loved his family, his trucking and was an animal lover.

In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by a son, Michael Anthony Yoakum; and half-brother, Jerry Ramsey.

JC is survived by his daughter, Mattea Yoakum; son, JC Yoakum, III; grandchildren, Grace Reiling, Marie Lynn Yoakum and Charlotte Yoakum, father, JC Yoakum, Sr.; sisters, Patty Ann Alonzo and Joyce Marie Yoakum; nieces and nephews, Nikki Marie Nunnley, Jose Luis Vega, Jr, Daniel Vega, Claudia Vega and  Alicia Vega, great-aunt, Evelyn Martin; uncle, Fred Yoakum; cousin, Regina Martin, mother of his children, Vicky Parker and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel with Rev. Bobby Partin.  Burial will follow in the Yoakum Cemetery in Speedwell.  Pallbearers will be JC Yoakum, Sr., Jose Vega, Sr, JC Yoakum, III, Calvin Weaver, Ronnie Rutherford and Vincent Parker.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
