Janie Mae Browning

Janie Mae Short Browning, 65, of Pineville, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Pineville Community Hospital. She was born October 1, 1948 a daughter of the late William Bryan and Isabell Allison Short . She believed in the Baptist faith and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Virginia Short. Survivors include her former husband and best friend Van Browning, son , Douglas and Melissa Browning, granddaughter, Jamie Lynn Smith, brother, Robert Short, sister, Margie and Eldon Asher, a host of niece, nephews and other family and friends. Graveside services will be 11:30 AM Thursday August 7, 2014 at Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro, KY, with Mr. Jay Steele. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center , Pineville , is honored to serve the Browning family.
