Janice Carol Jones

Janice Carol Boatright Jones, 62, of Pineville passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Diversicare of Claiborne. She was born in Pineville on March 28, 1954 a daughter of Delia Jackson Boatright Wilson and the late Joe Curtis Boatright. She believed in the Primitive Baptist Faith and had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Claiborne Medical Center. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Jones. Survivors include her mother, Delia Wilson; children, Shauna Kaye Hensley and husband, David; Christy Michelle Overbay; step-son, Jerry Jones, Jr.; grandchildren, Kayla and Derek, Theo, Pacey, Dakota and Madison; step-grandchildren, Gabriel and Austin; great-great-grandchildren, Presley and Carson; sisters and their husbands, Billie Jo and Fred Branham, Sherry and Dwayne Good, very special friend, Wanda Garland and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be on Sunday at 2 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Elder Woodrow Jackson and Elder Kenneth Robbins. Burial will be in the Jackson Cemetery on Laurel Hill with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 until 9 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the family of Janice Jones.
