Janice Marlene Johnson Howard

Janice Marlene Johnson Howard, 56, of Calvin, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was born in Harlan on December 15, 1961 a daughter of the late I.D. and Elsie Brock Johnson. She had worked as a Hairdresser for Walmart for several years and had been a Licensed Practical Nurse at Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital for many years. Janice was a wonderful Mom and Nana. Survivors include her son, Thomas Michael Evans and wife, Kayla; daughter, Ashley Evans; grandchildren, Kameran McKenzie, Jackson King, Sophia Brookann, Leann Mahala and Seraphina Grace; brother and sisters and their spouses, Michael Danny and Kay Johnson, Tammy and Greg Davenport and Shelia and Carl Wayne Caldwell; cousin, Aaron Wayne Stacy; honorary friends, Ken Westbery, Wendell Adkins and Dorothy Shepherd Cummins; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 3:00 PM Sunday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Stepp. Burial will be in the Tackett Hill Cemetery, Hulen with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer is Dr. Chin The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Janice Howard Family.
