James A. Thomas, age 92, of Ewing, Virginia, formerly of Arthur, Tennessee,

passed away March 19, 2007. Born November 13, 1914 in Canada. He was

of the holiness faith.

Preceded in death by wife, Nannie Lee Britton Hensley Thomas.

Survivors, son, Jimmy (Diane) Thomas of Dayton, Ohio;

step-sons, Carl Shephard of Finley, OH, Marvin of Shepherd, IN, and

Nathaniel Conley, of Cocoa, FL, David (Cathy) Hensley, George (Robbie)

Hensley all of Ewing, VA, Johnny (Sandy) Hensley of Middlesboro, KY;

daughters, Joann Bibbs and Shelby Bibbs both of Springfield, OH;

step-daughters, Chris Johnson of Wyoming, MI., Jean (Howard) Smith of

Kettering, OH, Betty (Ray) Brooks, Hazel (Larry) Littrell, Linda (Kyle) Bales,

all of Ewing, VA, Joyce (Roger) Willis of White Pine, TN, Dora (Randy) Duncan

of Harrogate, Mollie (James) Wilson of Jonesville, VA, Brenda Bertram

of Tazewell, TN;

several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Reece Valley

Chapel with Rev. J Harold Smith officiating. Graveside 11:00 a.m. Thursday at

Hensley Family Cemetery. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. Honorary

pallbearers will be Justin, Tyler, and Dakota Bussell. The family will receive friends
