James Mays

James Melton Mays departed this life on October 23, 2013 at his home in Pineville at the age of 49. He was born on November 3, 1963 to the late Jack and Jessie Mays. A lifelong resident of Pineville, Milt attended Pineville High School. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Known to his family and friends as ?Milt' or 'Tate? he enjoyed the outdoors and he loved to fish, enjoyed doing yard work and took great pride in what he did. He leaves to cherish his memories, one son, Deris ?Dee? Hill of Middlesboro; three grandchildren, Marissa, Deris Jr., and Carter; siblings Billy Ray Fulton, Patricia ?Abby? Cloud, Marcellus ?Mark? (Sue) Mays all of Pineville; John Arthur (Donna) Mays of Middlesboro; Robert ?Bob? Cloud of Madison, WI; Bernard ?Bernie?, ?Fat Man? Mays of Oshkosh, WI and Vernora ?Mouse? (Samuel) McCants of Akron, OH. Also to remember his life is loving aunts Rosa Mary Cloud, Beatrice Simpson, Mary Washington and Florence Mays all of Pineville and Uncle Walt Cloud and wife Aunt Alice of Decatur, GA. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors will remember the good times they all shared with Milt and remember that the ?sky is the limit?.
