James Wesley "Wes" Mason

James Wesley "Wes" Mason, 48, of Pineville, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Pineville on April 26, 1971, a son of Willard and Izetta "Zett" Daniels Mason. He was a member of Mathel Pentecostal Church and had been an Environmental Control Supervisor at for the Kentucky Department of Natural Resources. Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Adrienne Green Mason; children, Ethan Blake Mason and wife, Brittany and James William Peyton Mason; two grandchildren, Noah and Skylar Mason; parents, Willard and Zett Mason; mother and father-in-law, Larry and Debbie Green; sister and brother-in-law, Suzanne and Doug Browning; nieces and nephews, Devin and Kadi Miller, Emily Browning, Dawson "Gabe" Browning; great-nephew, Liam Miller; special aunts, Debbie Asher and Sue Miller, special aunt and uncle, Bill and Hazel Roll and a host of other realtives and all his friends and work famiy. Services will be at 8:00 PM Monday, June 3, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Larry Mason, Rev. Danny Gray, Rev. Hardy Franks and Rev. James Roark. Music will be by Emily Carnes and Mathel Church Choir. Burial will be in the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Pallbearers will be Doug Browning, Ethan Mason, Peyton Mason, Dawson Browning, Devin Miller, Will Hooper, Jonathan Hooper, Nick Valentine and Shawn Cain. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Roll, Curt Asher, Kem Simpson and Vince Alford. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 until 8 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Mason Family.
