James Archie Hoskins

James Archie Hoskins, 83, of Middlesboro, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at his home. He was born in Pineville on April 18, 1933 a son of the late Robert and Mary Cledith Elliott Hoskins. He had worked in carpentry and saw mills for many years. He loved to play the guitar and sing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Hoskins, brothers and sisters, Farmer and Yvonne Hoskins, Bobby and Rosie Hoskins, Bill and Merle Hoskins and Kathleen Gambrel. Survivors include his children, James Mark Hoskins, Melinda Hensley, Katie Taylor and husband, Vern , Randall Hoskins, Sandy Mahoney, Deanna Hoskins and Nancy Brock, a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a special friend, Bernice and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jeremy Sanders. Burial will be in the Ben's Branch Cemetery at Stoney Fork. Pallbearers will be Jacob Hensley, Josh Hensley, Allen Hoskins, Michael Hoskins, Vern Taylor, Stanley Hoskins and Tony Hoskins. Honorary pallbearers Charlie Eugene Hensley and George Helton. The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 PM Monday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Hoskins family.
