James Edward "Jim" Honeycutt

James Edward 'Jim' Honeycutt, 74, of Pineville, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the Pineville Community Hospital. He was born in Davisburg, Kentucky on August 6, 1943, and was a son of the late Olin and Daisy Marie Turner Honeycutt. Jim believed in the Baptist faith and was a veteran of the United States Army. He had proudly worked as a Coal Miner until his retirement. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Arjay Honeycutt, Jean Golden, and Doyle Honeycutt. Survivors include his wife of 51 wonderful years, Helen Ellison Honeycutt; daughters, Lisa Honeycutt Partin and husband, Hillary, and Cindy Honeycutt Brock and husband, Eric; grandchildren, Devin Hickman and Peyton Hickman; siblings, Cliva Don Honeycutt, Lou Ann Honeycutt Sharp, and Paula Honeycutt; and a host of other relatives, and many friends and neighbors. In keeping with Jim's longtime wishes, there will be no public funeral services. Private cremation services were held at the Arnett & Steele Cremation Center in Pineville.
