James Clifford Gambrel, Sr.

James Clifford Gambrel, Sr., 75 of Pineville, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at the Beech Tree Post-Acute & Rehabilitation Center in Jellico, Tennessee. He was born in Pineville on January 20, 1946, a son of the late Frank and Lucille Black Jones. James served his country in the United States Army and had been a journeyman. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, James and Tonya Gambrel, Jr.; grandchildren, Chasey Gambrel, Logan Woody, Jaidrian Gambrel, Lakeyn Gambrell, Taiven Gambrel, and Lindsey Woody; great-grandchildren, Avion Rodriguez and Elijah Rodrigues; and host of other relatives and friends. Private cremation services were held at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Gambrel family.
