James Orville 'Buck' Edmondson, 92, of Tazewell, TN, formerly of Monroe, MI., passed away January 4, 2011. He was born Sept. 13, 1918 in Lone Mountain TN to the late James Judson and Mary Elizabeth Cunningham Edmondson. He attended Blair's Creek and Dogwood Heights Baptist Churches and was a member of the Michigan Laborers Union and Veteran of WW II. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Meda Louisa Edmondson and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors, daughter, Sheila Dykes; son, James O. Edmondson Jr. and wife, Trilby Edmondson all of Tazewell, TN. 4 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren;

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Reece Valley Chapel. Burial in the Burch Cemetery with full military honors provided by Tri County Veteran's Honor Guard. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
