James David ( J.D.) Welch age 88 of Harrogate was born April 13, 1922 and passed away May14,2010.He was a member and deacon of Shawanee Baptist Church, Veteran of World War II, and a member of Harrogate Senior Citizens. Preceded in death by his parents Dal and Florence Withrow Welch.

Funeral services will be11:00 am Thursday May 20th at Shawanee Baptist Church with Rev. John Gibbons officiating. Burial in the Campbell County Memorial Gardens with full military rites by the Tri County Veterans Honor Guard. Pallbearers will be friends and family.
