James Chumley
May 8, 1943 — December 30, 2017
James Chumley, 74 of New Tazewell, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Diversicare of Claiborne. He was born in Harlan, KY on May 8, 1943 a son of the late Woodrwo and Sarah Depew Chumley. He had been a Heavy Equipment Operator in Coal mines and Rock Quarries.
He is survived by his sons, Kenneth Chumley and Darrell (Leslie) Chumley; grandchildren, Jessica (Brett) Walters, Dakota Chumley, Thomas Chumley and Sarah Chumley; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Visitation Celebrating of his life will be on Thursday from 5 until 7 PM at Reece Funeral Home Chapel.
