James Cloyd "Jason" Brown

James Cloyd 'Jason' Brown, 52, of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. Jason was born in Pineville on September 1, 1964, and was a son of the late Grant, Jr. and Martha Watson Brown. He was a member of Moss Chapel Baptist CHurch and had worked as a utility lineman and in coal mining. Jason is survived by his children, Ashley Lunn and husband Nathan, James Michael Brown, Kelly Bullins and husband, Jordan, and Elijah Brown; grandchildren, Brynna Lunn, Blair Lunn and Greyson Bullins; brother, Billy Grant Brown; sister, Leigh Ann Wilson and husband, Eddie; fiance, Jennifer Mason; niece, Lauren Wilson; nephews, Corbin Brown and Kyle Wilson and a host of other relatives and many, many friends. Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 7:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Terrell Gibson. Music will be by Mitch and Tim Williams. Graveside services will be on Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Oak Grove, TN with Corbin Brown, Kyle Wilson, Jonathan Middleton, Brent Madon, Nathan Lunn and Jason 'Booga' Evans serving as pallbearers. A funeral procession to the cemetery will leave from Arnett & Steele Funeral Home at 10:30 AM Thursday. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 PM Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to be serving the Brown family.
