James M. Beeler age 77 of Speedwell passed away October 1, 2008. He was born January 3, 1931 in Fonde Kentucky to the late Milton H. & Velma Pearman Beeler. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by son; Rusty Beeler and grandson; Rusty Lee Beeler. He was a retired letter carrier, a veteran of The Korean War, and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

Daughter and son-in-law: Patty & Jeff Russell all of Speedwell

Daughter-in-law; Lesha Beeler of Middlesboro

Sister; Betty Overton of Middlesboro

Grandchildren: Chauncey Beeler, John Beeler (& wife Beth), Tyler Russell, Megan Russell, Nasya Beeler, Candice Beeler and Morgan Beeler

Great Grandchildren: Cooper Beeler and Hayden Beeler

The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Thursday October 2nd at Reece Funeral Home & Valley Chapel with the funeral to follow at 8 pm. Rev. Robert H. Owens officiating. Music by Singing Creek Trio. Burial 1pm Friday at The Greasy Hollow Cemetery. Pallbearers: Chauncey Beeler, John Beeler, Tyler Russell, James Harp, Tommy Tinnel, Mathew Dunn and Alan Mayes.
