Irene Mills

Irene Warren Mills, 72 of Barbourville, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022, at her home. She was born in Ingram on August 21, 1950, a daughter of the late Fred and Pauline Baker Warren. Irene was a member of the Saint Paul Baptist Church and had been a cashier at the Barbourville Shell Station.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Ray Mills, and sister, Patsy Warren.

Irene is survived by her sons, Tony and Penny Warren and Jimmy Joe and Renee Warren; daughters, Melissa Miles and Chris Davis, and Paula Sue Mills; grandchildren, Christine and husband, Cody, Jessica, Heather and boyfriend, Cameron, Brittanyand husband, Austin, Gina and husband, Jay, Tyler, Camille and fiancé, Jathan, Morgan and boyfriend, Nigel, and Natalie; bonus grandchildren, Ethan, Tiara, Olivia, Elayna and Asmir; great-grandchildren, Eveline, Benjamin, Caleb, Chloe and Athena; honorary sister, Joyce Catoe; long-time love, Roger Rose; and a host of bonus kids, grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Tinsley presiding. Music will be provided by Tyler Mills and Natalie Smith.
