Irene Hoskins

Irene Hoskins, 90, of Kettle Island, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital in Hazard. Irene was born on November 4, 1934, to the late Lee and Lucy Asher Hoskins. Irene was a member of the Calvary Chapel Pentecostal Church, and had been a restaurant owner and operator.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings Otis Hoskins, Pearl (Frank) Veterano, May Hoskins, Bonnie Hoskins, Asher (Ava) Hoskins, and Phillip D. (Phyllis) Hoskins. Niece, Mary Beth Hoskins.

Irene is survived by; siblings, Lehman (Genevieve) Hoskins and Barbara Hoskins, Nieces and Nephews; Allison Hoskins, Asher Hoskins, Lee Hoskins, Lucy Hoskins, Jayne Hoskins, Zona Beth (Bill), Fryman, Lucy (Ron) Smith, Ellie Erlene, and Phillip (Cheyenne) Hoskins, Great Nieces and Nephews; Kasen Hoskins, Leeah Hoskins, Kylee Snellings, Dale Brock, and Dustin Beverly, Cousin, Anthony Grubbs, and special friend Nora Cox.

Funeral Services will be conducted at Arnett and Steele Funeral Home in Pineville, on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Jackie Smith officiating, burial will follow at Lee Hoskins Cemetery in Kettle Island, with friends and family serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends, on Sunday, at Arnett and Steele Funeral Home from 12:00 PM, until the funeral hour of 2:00 PM.
